Surviving the difficulty spike in Glyph Cascade
Glyph Cascade lulls you into a false sense of ease. The first thirty-odd levels are a gentle warm-up, and then around forty the gravity mechanic becomes mandatory rather than optional.
The core insight is to stop matching the moment you see a match. Instead, set up a match, rotate gravity, and let the pieces fall into a bigger chain. One prepped rotation can clear more than three greedy matches.
Corners are gold. Pieces tend to pile up there, and a well-timed flip cascades them across the whole board. We started every hard level by planning around the corners.
When you're stuck, undo and rethink from the top rather than forcing moves. The game gives you time, so use it. Panicking into random matches was how we failed level forty-three about ten times.
No energy timers means you can grind these levels at your own pace, which honestly saved our sanity.
